Monitoring

The web-based AarteLink® monitor is primarily used to monitor the installed system. The alarms are displayed directly on the monitor. If necessary, alarms of all kinds can be forwarded to selected users via SMS and / or email. With the sophisticated role / rights model, the necessary authorizations can be flexibly assigned to the respective users. All activities are saved in a log file.

The AarteLink® monitor offers a wide range of functions for system configuration and operation, such as the gateways or GeoSensors. It also ensures secure data management, such as the status of the system components, the measured values ​​and processes as well as the master data.

Alerting

The AarteLink® solution offers a large number of standardized alerting options. The local alerting options with sirens, traffic lights, flashlights or voice announcements via loudspeakers or on construction site radio are particularly worth mentioning.

Of course, the alarms can also be transmitted to control centers via GSM or GSM-R or directly to selected cell phones or pagers. With the appropriate infrastructure, the alarms can be transmitted to the operations center via LAN.

    Voice announcements

    When natural hazard events are pending, action must be taken quickly. Such events are always a race against time. Life and limb or valuable infrastructure can be seriously threatened within minutes.

    Voice announcements, voice messages over loudspeakers or, for example, construction site radio can help with local alerting. The voice alarm is often more efficient and precise than the siren alone. Therefore, voice alarms are now often an integral part of modern emergency concepts. Aartesys also offers a combination of sirens and voice alarms, using AarteLink's intelligent algorithms® the control of the components tailored to the needs of the customer.

    Transmission

    The AarteLink® solution is a consistently optimized and robust low-power radio application. Low-power technologies enable the use of battery-operated devices that can be operated independently over an extremely long period of time. Thanks to the low bandwidth and low bit rates, long distances can be bridged. The GeoSensor from Aartesys AG is based on this principle. The GeoSensor can transmit several kilometers and has a service life of almost 10 years.

    The proven AarteLink® gateway is used to connect the GeoSensors to the outside world (WAN). As a rule, data is transmitted via the GSM or GSM-R network or, where the appropriate infrastructure is available, via Ethernet. The AarteLink® gateway can be installed separately from the GeoSensors, where there are ideal reception conditions and enough solar energy to charge the batteries. The AarteLink® solution can be installed quickly and easily and is ready for use in a very short time. If required, we of course also offer systems with a high degree of redundancy across all levels.

    Integrations

    The AarteLink®- Solution is a versatile solution and enables a variety of integration options. The most common integration components at the field level include, for example, various types of traffic lights, rotating lights, sirens, buzzers, voice announcements and construction site radio, to name just a few. This means that systems that are perfectly tailored to local conditions can be configured. The AarteLink®- The solution can be integrated into higher-level alarm control centers with little effort.
